Please NO Corp to Corp subcontracting is available for H1 Holders however will will accomodate and arrange for an H1 Visa transfer to Mastech as our employee. Green Card processing is available.
MUST be a solid C#/.net developer.
Primary Function:
This individual is expected to have extensive technical skills and experience in state of the art internet development technologies.
The candidate will be responsible for interpreting business requirements and use case functionality in order to code and develop programs that meet the expectations of the business.
This candidate must have a good understanding of programming techniques, the development life cycle and testing procedures.
This candidate must have good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment, interact with other programmers and IT professionals of other disciplines.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Develop specifications and technical designs for business computer applications based on analysis of business processes and interaction with business users and ITS business liaisons.
Identifies tasks necessary to develop business systems based on defined requirements/specifications.
Estimates time necessary to complete required tasks.
Tracks and communicates status/progress of ongoing projects to managers, team members & other appropriate personnel.
Designs, codes and debugs business applications based upon defined requirements and specifications.
Writes code that can be easily maintained and tested by others, by adhering to coding standards and including detailed code documentation.
Works with QA personnel in supporting the development and execution of test plans to ensure that distributed software is of the highest possible quality.
Works with database personnel to design physical and logical databases to support present/future business applications.
Develops clear, detailed technical and user documentation that will facilitate support for developed applications.
Responds appropriately to emergency technical support situations and produces quick and effective solutions to business problems.
Participates in design and code reviews with managers, peers and involved business personnel.
Acquires knowledge of existing systems and the underlying business processes they support.
Education/Experience Requirement:
Must have 2 or more years experience programming in C#
Other programming experience should include some or all of the following (Visual C++, C/C++, XML/XSL, Visual Basic)
Environments (.NET, Visual C++, Visual Interdev, ClearQuest, VSS, Rational Suite)
Database languages (MS SQL 7.0/SQL 2000, Sybase, SQL Stored Procedures)
Platforms (Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000/2003, XP, Windows IIS/MTS)
Technologies
(OOD, COM+, COM/DCOM, ADO, ODBC, ATL, MSMQ, ActiveX)
